mWe'll investigate this theme with two parts.
1. JESUS CHRIST’S PERSON
2. JESUS CHRIST’S PURPOSE OF COMING TO THE WORLD
1. JESUS CHRIST’S PERSON
mThis part will be investigated in its turn with two sub-sections
A. JESUS CHRIST'S HUMANITY
B. JESUS CHRIST'S DEITY
|
A. JESUS CHRIST'S HUMANITY
mChrist's humanity means that before being a man he has been existed as God, but he appeared in the world in human essence in time: God revealed in flesh. There are much more testimonies about Christ in mankind history, than about someone, which has ever been in the world. Now we'll see some works, properties and testimonies for Jesus Christ, which is special for the human being.
mJesus Christ has got human physical body:
- He was born from woman. Luke.2:1-7;
- Was from David's generation. Rom.1:3;
- Was recognized by neighbors. Matt.13:53-58;
- He was hungry and thirsty. Matt.4:2; John.4:7;
- He got tired. John.4:6;
- He slept. Matt.8:23,24;
- He wept. Luke.19:41;
- He sweated. Luke.22:44;
- He gave testimony, that he is the Son of a man. Mark.10:33,34;
- He had blood. John.19:33,34;
- He died and was buried. Matt.27:50, 59-61;

Jesus Christ has got human nature
mIn some doctrines is rejected Jesus Christ's either human or divine side. The human being's salvation becomes impossible with the case of any side's rejection. If we reject his human side in that case we would reject the only Victim for sin’s forgiveness. Col.1:20; 2John.7;
m“Flesh” (body) word in Greek manuscript with its grammar fashions has five meanings.
m1. Any physical body. 1Cor.15:39-41;
m2. Physical meat and blood. Rom.6:12,13; 14:21;
m3. Human sinful nature†.mRom.7:5,18; 8:3, 7-9; Gal.5:16,17,19;
m4. Both human being's physical body and sinful nature. 1Cor.5:5; 6:16;
m5. Both human being's physical body and interior. Acts.2:17; Rom.3:20;
m† mWith the meaning of sinful nature “body” word in the New Testament’s some explanatory translations are replaced by “sinful nature” or “human nature” expressions.
mThus, whether had Jesus Christ got only human physical body, or was his humanity concerned only his physical condition? Jesus Christ sacrificed not only his physical body for deliver us from the sin, but also condemned human sinful nature in that flesh. Rom.6:6; 8:3;
mQuestion: What do we understand, saying “sinful flesh” or “sinful nature?”.
mAnswer: This is a nature in a body, which is feeble - unable to obey God’s Law, its advise is death, because it is impossible to stay in divine criterion - to think and to act as God’s wisdom dictates.
mThe Holy Bible teaches that Jesus Christ has been completely like those people (except sinning) whom he had to save.Heb.2:14,17; 4:15;
mGod sent his Son into human essence in order to save the human being from the sinful nature and sentence, in order to bridle, to forbid, to condemn in himself human sinful nature to the death of cross with Spirit's Strength and leave unoccupied that sinful nature with its desires. Phil.2:6-11;
mSome people „physiognomy” and „likeness” expressions which are written above which are straightened to the Philippians consider only external likeness to the human being, but if we accept that explanation, therefore, in the same context used for Christ „being in God's image” expression would also be considered external likeness. But in the context „Physiognomy” expression has the same meaning. And if human internal physiognomy's likeness is rejected for Christ, so it will be also, in itself rejected his internal likeness to God. And if it is accepted that he has been in God's physiognomy completely, therefore, must be also accepted possession of his human physiognomy completely, which is mentioned in the context as servant human being. Some people doesn't accept this truth, thinking that Christ is ignored and humiliated by it, but actually, it is visible Christ's divine and power by it, that being in sinful flesh - in the sinful nature, remained holy - didn't sin. 1Tim.3:16;
mGod's Son united with the human essence, and was involved in the nature which exists in human being essence, and so he opened path for the human being to be united with the divine's nature in order the believer to be called holy (though there is sinful nature in him). 1Cor.1:2; 2Tim.1:9;
m1John.3:4-6; It is seen in this passage that there wasn’t sin in Christ - wasn’t lawlessness. Having a body of sinful nature doesn't decide if there is sin or fault within him. For ex, if someone doesn't look at another woman for the purpose of desire, therefore there is no sin concerning that woman, but it doesn't mean that there is no sinful nature within that human being. Or if we think that having a flesh of sinful nature will be obstacle for Christ’s pure, in that case is also reject believer’s pure, and in connection with this Scripture's many passages would be ranked deceitful, which give testimony about the believer's sanctity. There is also another example - in the Old Covenant the chosen pure lamb for sacrifice it doesn't mean, that it doesn’t have nature of poor lamb, but it is hasn’t any impediment. So, the impediment is determined by personal life and deals. Thus, Lord Jesus Christ was tested in every questions by our likeness, but didn't sin. Matt.26:41; Gal.5:17; Heb.4:15;
mHow Jesus Christ remained with Spirit's power righteous, so he can make strengthen to the believer with his Spirit - to win eagerness of sinful nature and to act righteousness. Rom.8:1-11; Gal.5:24; 1John.4:1-3;
mJesus Christ was united to the human essence not only receiving physical body, but also having human nature. Actually the physical body doesn't determine man’s human essence, but the human being's internal nature determines it. So, if Christ didn’t have human nature, couldn't be called the Son of the Man. Christ appeared in the human essence - in the human being's physical body and nature. So, the Scripture reveals that Christ man wasn’t similar Adam’s previous nature - before sin, but was from Abraham and David’s generation and had got body of sinful nature, as well as Abraham, David and we, but without doing sin. Matt.1:1; John.1:5,14; Heb.2:14-17; 4:15; 1Pet.2:22;
mIn Heb.4:15; pointed, “to be tested by everything” is also concerned the temptation from the sinful nature. Actually, the human being's greatest test is from the sinful nature, than from the hunger, persecution, or from the Evil. Gal.5:17;
mAs Jesus Christ had got human sinful nature therefore, if he was carelessly he would have usual human being's death. That is why, during the days of his life on earth (many times) his prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears was bringing God, who could save him from death, and was heard for his reverence. Matt.26:41;
mHeb.5:7-9; 1John.4:2,3; 2John.7; In this passages the apostle writes about the thing that any one who doesn’t accept Jesus Christ came in flesh (in flesh by sinful nature), they are from Antichrist. But there is a question here, if anyone who didn’t understand the truth written above, are they from Antichrist? They are not from the Antichrist, as they didn’t accept, but they didn’t understand it, but if this reality is presented simple, so in that case, who doesn’t accept this truth, accept Antichrist’s mind. And such people are deceivers and convicted, as how is written Scripture says. The difference written above concerning word “body” is expressed more clear in Russian translation of New Testament, using expressions “body” and “flesh” instead of five meanings which are pointed in the beginning.

B. JESUS CHRIST'S DEITY
mAt the same time Jesus Christ had two natures on the earth both divine and human. Rom.1:3,4; Luke.1:30-33; John.1:14;
mExamining the Scripture, it is found out, that Jesus Christ has the whole divine description. He is the only person of Holy Trinity - recognized by the name of „Son”. God decided with visible way to reveal himself in Jesus Christ's image and thus to give salvation to the humanity. Matt.28:19; John.3:16; 5:23; 2Cor.4:6; Col.1:15; Heb.1:1-3;
mBut if we reject his divine side, in that case is rejected his being Savior - we won’t be able to accept, that he is God, because the only savior is God, there is no other one except God, who could win sin’s law with his personality in sinful flesh, both pay for sin and buy the whole guilty world. Ps.49:7,8; Matt.1:21-23; John.8:24; Rom.7:22-25; 8:3;
mJesus Christ's divine nature
mNow we'll see four sub-points with regard to Jesus Christ's deity.
B.1. Jesus Christ’s divine some work
B.2. Jesus Christ’s divine character and power
B.3. Jesus Christ’s divine glorious position
B.4. Jesus Christ’s divine some names
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmB.1. Jesus Christ’s divine some work
mWorks which are special for God, and Jesus Christ acted.
- He gave sins’ forgiveness, which only entered God’s right. Mark.2:5-12; Luke.7:48,49;
- He searched people's heart and minds. Mark.2:7,8; Luke.7:36-50;
- He accepted worship. Matt.28:17; John.20:28; Heb.1:6;
- He won the death by resurrection. John.10:17,18; 11:25; Acts.1:3;
mmmmmmmmmmmmB.2. Jesus Christ’s divine character and power
mNow let's look at all those Christ's essence moral and power characteristics, which concern God, and those we investigated in „God” theme. And in this theme we'll see Christ's glorious position with the same descriptions.
mJesus Christ's moral description
m1. Saying Jesus Christ is holy we mean
*His condition |
*His position. |
m*Jesus Christ is holy in the meaning of condition - we mean there isn’t evil, sin, illegitimacy, cunning, lie and darkness in himself. He is perfect and perfectly pure. Heb.4:15; 1Pet.2:22;
m* Jesus Christ is holy in the meaning of position - we mean that He is highest from all beings and divided from them by his special features - having divine position. Heb.1:3; 8:1; 10:12; 1Pet.3:22;
mWe'll investigate about this deeper under the sub-point „B.3. Jesus Christ divine glorious position”.
m2. Jesus Christ is love and loving. He has the whole divine love. John.3:16; 15:9; John.15:13,14;
mJesus Christ’s power description
1. He is almighty. Col.1:16,17; Heb.1:3;
2. He is everywhere. Matt.28:20; John.14:13,14,23;
3. He is wiseacre. Col.2:3; in Rev.,Apoc. 2 and 3 chapters is said to all churches „I know your acts”.
4. He is the wisest. Col.2:3; 1Cor.2:6-8;
5. He is invariable forever. Isa.9:6; Heb.1:12; 13:8; Rev.,Apoc.1:7,8,18;
mThe descriptions stated above show Jesus Christ's divine glorious condition.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmB.3. Jesus Christ’s divine glorious position
mGod's and Christ's being glorious isn't concerned only condition, but also the position. We investigated by Jesus Christ's divine descriptions his glorious condition, but now let's look at his glorious position. Before coming out from God - Christ was equal by position to the Father and Holy Spirit. He was in the same kingdom and at the same height with Father God, but being equal, he wasn't enslaved by that glory, but belittled in his position from Father, but remained the same in his condition - as the true and worship accepted God. Yes, he decided to descend from that position, but he kept his glorious condition completely the same. John.1:1-5,14; Phil.2:6-11;
mHe came out of God - became Son, and also became a man in time. Which person would come out from the Trinity, he would be born - Son. So, Christ decided to be low with his service position from Father God, but with condition to remain the same. John.1:18; 5:17,18; 10:29,30,33;
mBeing man Christ left his position which had at Father God, but after resurrection, he sat down by Father's power at his right side - in divine glorious position forever. John.17:5; Eph.1:20-22; Phil.2:5-11;
mBefore every creation Christ has been God's Son - born, and not created. Prov.8:24,25; 30:4; as well he became a man in time. Col.1:15;
mHe is the origin of every creature, and is not the first created, but every creature was originated by him. Rev.,Apoc.3:14;

2. JESUS CHRIST’S PURPOSE OF COMING TO THE WORLD
mAt first Jesus Christ came to the world, in order to:
mA. Save people from their sins and from the punishment for sin. Matt.1:21; 1Pet.2:24;
mB. To have God recognize the mankind and to reconcile them with him. Matt.11:27; John.17:3,26; 2Cor.5:18,19; Col.1:20;
mC. Confirm the saved people in the eternal life and in the glory. John.3:16; 1Thess.2:12;
mHe will also come the second time. We'll investigate about this circumstantially in the theme of “The resurrection of the dead”.
|
mConclusion: Jesus Christ is a person of God's holy Trinity - God's the one and an only Son - come out from his essence and was not created.
mBeing equal to God, wasn’t carried by that glory, but became low with his position but remained in his condition as true and worship accepted God.
mHe came to the world from the heaven, in order to save us - lost people, from the Evil's power and put in God's Kingdom - was born from virgin Mary - devoted God, by the power of Holy Spirit became perfect man receiving human nature and body, but didn't sin, at the same time remaining perfect God in the flesh.
mAnd sentenced our sinful nature in that flesh and taking punishment of sin of the whole world on himself died on the cross, he was buried and rose from dead in the same body on the third day. He was taken up to the heaven and sat on the right side of Father God on the 40-th day. He will come back with Father's glory and will judge alive and dead people in accordance with their acts after resurrection. And it won’t be the end of His already begun Kingdom.
