mWe will study this theme in two parts:
1. THE MAN’S STATE AT THE TIME OF HIS CREATION.
2. THE MAN’S STATE AFTER SINNING AND TODAY.

1. THE MAN’S STATE AT THE TIME OF HIS CREATION.
mThis section is divided into three subsections:
A. HOW WAS MAN CREATED?
B. WHAT KIND OF MAN CREATED?
C. THE MAIN PURPOSE OF MAN’S CREATION.
|
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmA. HOW WAS MAN CREATED?
mNon exact world science insists that man is a creature who appeared accidentally in the Universe. According to that science, there is no real purpose or meaning in man’s existence, because that what appears accidentally has no plan purpose for its future, so its value is low. On the contrary to this point of view, the Bible says ”God created a man”. God created the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Gen.2:7,22,23; Ps.139:14,16;
mWe should notice God created man with three parts, body, soul and spirit. Gen.2:7; 1Thess.5:23;
mSo, man isn’t an accidental result, but he is a supreme God’s creation - made for a special purpose.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmB.1. Man’s moral-ethical description
mBy God’s breath, man received divine life and nature, and he had the opportunity to live forever in that state, so he did not need salvation. Man was like God, pure and kind by his nature: there was no sin or iniquity in him. Gen.1:31;
mBefore he sinned, a man was free from sickness and death, because he didn’t sin and didn’t have a sinful nature. He was filled with wisdom, had self-consciousness, and was able to see the difference well between himself and other creatures. Gen.2:19,20;
|
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmB.2. Man is a person
mGod created man as a person, who expresses with following abilities: he thinks, plans, makes decisions and creates. Gen.2:18-23; Ps.119:15;
|
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmB.3. Man can rule
mSince the rule over the whole Universe is in God’s hands, so He also gave to Adam ability to rule, in order he and his wife hold sway on the Earth. Gen.1:26-28;
mAmong all the creatures God created, only man who can rule every kind of animal on the earth, every kind of bird and every kind of creature in the water. Therefore God gave Adam the responsibility for their care and their naming.
|
mmmmmmmmmB.4. Man is the supreme being among God’s creations
mHow there is no higher being in the Universe than God: God is the highest among all who exists, so human being is the highest among all creatures.
mAnd Adam realized who he was and so found no corresponding friend among the animals, because was the highest. Gen.2:7,18-20,23; But when he saw the woman, he chooses her at once (though he was sleeping during of her creation). Adam also was realizing his responsibility before God. |

mmmmmmmmmC. THE MAIN PURPOSE OF MAN’S CREATION.
mThe main purpose of man’s creation is to be likeness of God. Gen.1:26-28;
mAs newly born child is whole in his state as a human being and looks like his parents who further must grow and be perfect in that likeness, and so is a human being, though he was created by God’s likeness and image, but when he associates with God he was growing to perfection in God’s likeness.
mEven after creating God’s purpose was set acting. He associating with a human being growing him to perfection and wished him to live forever. And God knows that where there is not free will and the right to choose, there can’t be pleasant association and can’t be expressed Creator’s likeness and image. God wanted man to show his willingness and make his own choice. Gen.2:16,17;
mHuman being’s growing in God’s image led him to God’s glory. Isa.43:7; And though that glory was planned, it hasn’t been discovered for ages, but it only began to be visible connected with plan of our Lord Jesus Christ, which was told by the Gospel. Rom.16:25-27; Eph.1:3,6,12,18-23; 1Thess.2:12;
mGod’s glorious greatness expresses even brighter by a man. For example, if someone builds a house for his own glory, that house shows the constructor’s ability, genius and wisdom etc… Likewise, God’s glory, ability, genius and wisdom are revealed and will reveal by a man. But God’s main purpose is not to glorify man, but the man will look like Him, having Christ’s complete image. Gen.1:26,27; Matt.5:48; Rom.8:29; Eph.4:13; Col.2:9; 3:10-14; 1John.3:2;

2. THE MAN’S STATE AFTER SINNING AND TODEY.
mThough God created man holy and perfect, man did not stay in that kind position. There is no greater misfortune than when man is mistaken in his choice. God created man who wasn’t mortal and put him in to Eden garden, but He warned him about death. The whole Earth was given to the human being and he had the right to use everything except an only tree - ”tree of the knowledge of good and evil”. Man was warned that he would die the very day he would eat the forbidden fruit. Gen.2:16,17; But the man did not obey: with the enticement of Satan he ate that fruit and became mortal, because had violated the right that God had established. He did iniquity and it was considered to him as a sin. The sin entered into the world and with that sin a death and the death was spread over the whole Adam’s generation. Gen.3:6; Rom.5:12;
mBut what is a death? It is the absence of life - a separated stay from the divine life - God’s nature. Eph.4:17,18;
mSome people complain that God should not have put the forbidden fruit in Eden, in order to Adam would have been kept safe from sinning. That forbidden fruit was a single example for future life. Yes, if there was no that tree, anyhow, a lot of people will be in the future and it doesn’t mean that Adam would have any restriction on his relationship with them, any he had to behave with anybody in such way as he liked. Adam would have to accept that he would have to stay within limits of his rights.
mWhen a man sinned he was deprived of divine life, and since then death’s law began to have its affect upon man, which influence can take a man to eternal death. Man’s whole being was corrupted: his spirit - Gen.2:17; Matt.8:22; his soul (which includes his nature), life, mind, a wish of his heart Gen.9:5; Eph.2:1-3; 4:17,18; , and his body- Gen.3:16-19;. So, Adam’s generation had died spiritually - was deprived of divine life and glory. Luke 9:60; Rom.3:23; Eph.2:1;
mGod’s holiness and righteousness could not disregard Adam’s sin - iniquity. He can not say injustice. God discovered Adam’s iniquity and accused. Because of Adam’s disobedience, God’s wrath - the judgment of death came upon Adam and his generation Gen.3:17-19,23,24; Thus Adam’s corrupted nature was transferred to the whole human race by inheritance. Job14:4; Rom.5:19;
mToday, each man has sinful nature. Man made the wrong choice and became guilty and deprived of God’s glory - glorious life. Rom.3:23;
mBy sinning, a change occurred in man, before he had had divine a holy nature, but because of sin his nature was changed.
mA. His divine moral description changed completely: he was holy and became sinful nature, he was kind and became evil. Rom.3:10-18;
mB. Before sinning man was a living person, but after sinning he became a dead person, his mind was corrupted by evil, his plans, decisions, choice and inclinations became evil. Gen.2:17; 6:5; Matt.8:22; Rom.1:28-32; Eph.4:17,18;
mC. Earlier man could have done a kind ruling on the earth, but after sinning, evil found its place within man and he began to rule evilly, violently, deceptively and pitilessly. 1Cor.12:2; Eph.2:1-3;
mD. A man who is the highest among all beings after sinning he lost self-consciousness, he recognize neither himself nor his Creator, therefore, he can not realize who he is in God’s plan Isa.1:3; Jer.10:14; Rom.3:10-18; Eph.4:17-19;
m Because of this corruption that the world’s scholars are not able to acknowledge the truth about their origin, it was announced that a man (their forefather) has originated from the monkey. And many people today prefer to give man’s legacy to animals, rather than to man.
mThough man has been so corrupted, but God in His mercy and grace brings man into self-consciousness and gives him an opportunity to make a choice. Yes, God informs that is lost and that he needs a Savior, who is the Lord Jesus Christ. Matt.11:25-27; 16:17; John.1:9; 3:16; 6:44; Phil.2:13; 1John.5:20;
|
mConclusion: Man is a person, created with God’s image, who sinning, defiled his whole essence: body, soul and spirit. But God, Who created him through the crucifixion of His son Jesus Christ, has given man an opportunity to have the forgiveness of sin, salvation, and the opportunity – to grow and reach God’s main purpose that is to say, like Jesus Christ.
